The spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to dominate the news, with major implications for public health and economic stability around the world. We are carefully monitoring the situation and are following the latest World Health Organisation and Government guidance to ensure that Windelev has responsible measures in place and is well prepared.
The health and wellbeing of our employees, clients and communities are paramount and we have robust business continuity plans in place to ensure we continue to provide you with uninterrupted service. None of the government initiatives taken in Denmark are affecting the private export sector.
- We are enforcing a shift pattern for our workforce to reduce the level of contact between colleagues to eliminate the risk of the virus spreading that could affect our service level. As a positive benefit our office hours for the coming weeks are now in the hours between 06-19.
Administrative & client-facing employees are able to work remote fully operationally, so we are very well placed to be able to continue to deliver the best possible service and maintain business as usual.
- We have an employee travel ban to high risk areas and we have asked any employees who have recently travelled to high risk countries to identify themselves to our management team. Staff have been asked to reduce business and personal travel to a minimum. We recognize that many clients will also want to minimize their travel and face-to-face contact during this period and therefore we can facilitate meetings by telephone and Skype for Business. In the current circumstances, we believe that this is a good best practice.
- Should you encounter disruption during this difficult time we are happy to discuss how we can be of further service and reduce any potential risk you may face.
If our plans change in the future to reflect new guidance or any changes in our own situation, we will keep you updated. We will also contact you individually if we need to change arrangements to any meetings or events you are expecting to attend.
In the meantime, we want to reassure you that we are taking responsible precautions to minimize the potential impact of COVID-19 while ensuring it is business as usual.
